Presenter’s Information
All posters will be up all week
This year, the GEM workshop will host ~200 posters. All posters will be up all week to provide opportunities for discussions outside the regular poster presentation times.
The poster size should be no bigger than 3.75’ wide x 4’ high.
Poster plenary sessions on Tuesday and Thursday (6:00 pm – 8:30 pm)
As always, we will have the evening poster presentation plenary sessions on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Posters will be divided into “Tuesday” posters and “Thursday” posters, so that not all posters will be presented at the same time. Lists for the “Tuesday” and “Thursday” posters will be provided. Students participating in the poster competition are required to be by their poster on their respective day only.
!!NEW!!: Introducing poster focus group concurrent sessions
In order to increase the opportunities for discussions, for the first time, we are introducing poster focus group concurrent sessions, which will be included in the schedule. During these sessions, participants can meet the presenters and discuss further their work. The participation of the presenters is optional, and we encourage the presenters to indicate their attendance both on the poster board and using the GEM App, if they will be present during those times.
In addition to the in-person presentation, presenters are also encouraged to upload their posters to GEM App. You will have the option to upload a 15-minute video presenting your work. This will allow for maximum exposure of your work and the possibility to interact with fellow scientists before, during and after the workshop.
Submission
GEM poster submission is now closed.
If you would like to present more than one poster, please submit them separately under the same email address. The first submission will be prioritized.
* For oral presentations, please contact with the GEM Focus Group (FG) conveners
